I am Meenakshi, and for me, teaching is more than just explaining lessons — it’s about building a student’s confidence in what they learn. I enjoy breaking down concepts with clarity and making them relatable, so learning feels natural, achievable, and stress-free. Being close in age to my students, and a student myself, helps me understand how they think, where they may struggle, and how to support them effectively. My inspiration comes from watching my mother, who runs a home tutoring business, patiently guide her students step by step, helping them grow not only academically but personally as well. Seeing her journey made me realise how rewarding it is to watch a student improve, gain confidence, and enjoy learning. Academically, I studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) in school, pursued Biotechnology in my undergraduate studies, and am currently studying Marketing at the University of Melbourne. This diverse academic background allows me to explain concepts clearly, connect ideas across subjects, and bring practical understanding into my teaching. Along with this, my corporate experience helps me maintain structure, discipline, and a strong results-oriented approach. I am friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, and I strive to create a motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. With 2 years of tutoring experience and a strong academic record, I assure parents of focused, results-oriented growth — because I truly believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every child can succeed.
