Here are the subjects I teach: Year 11/12 - English Advanced - Economics - Maths (Advanced, Extension 1 and 2) - Chemistry Year 7-10 - English - Maths - Science In Year 12, I served as Head of Academics (prefect) at Knox Grammar School. This role involved organising school-wide study skills seminars, building systems for resource sharing, and support to students from years 7-12 who have very different academic journeys. As a result, I am well-versed in interacting with a diverse cohort of students, and I aim to diagnose each student’s weaknesses and strengths, and improve them further. I’ve helped elevate my current student’s scores from 12-15/20 in English to 18/19/20 in the space of 1 term. Here is my approach to each subject I offer: English Advanced ✍️: Students will first send me a list of their prescribed texts and assessment, after which I prepare weekly note materials for the student. We focus on high-level devices, addressing form, structure and language.
