I'm Ben Seo and I'm a 2025 Knox graduate with an ATAR of 99.80. My objective as a tutor is to mentor students to achieve their personal best through incremental improvements in marks. I specialize in English Advanced, Economics, Math Advanced/Extension 1/Extension 2 and Chemistry. I aim to teach these subjects through an objective lens and systematic way. During my time in Year 12, I served as Head Academic Prefect at Knox Grammar School. This role involved providing continuous academic support to all boys from year 7 - 12 (2000+), not only those who were top performers. As a result, I am well-versed in interacting with a diverse cohort of students, and I aim to diagnose each student’s specific needs and tailor lessons accordingly. Here is my approach to each subject I offer: English Advanced ✍️: Students will first send me a list of their prescribed texts and assessment, after which I prepare weekly note materials for the student. We focus on high-level devices, addressing form, structure and language.
