📌 About Me
Hi, I'm Isabelle and a first year USYD student studying a Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced Studies).
I understand maths isn’t easy for every student, I wasn't “natural” at maths either. Through discipline, effort and effective study strategies I achieved strong results. Now, I specialise in helping students who struggle or want to excel further with maths.
I focus on:
- Building strong fundamentals through effective homework
- Exposure to all question types and difficulty levels
- Providing clear explanations of core concepts
- Ingraining strong study habits and confidence
- Identifying and targeting the students weakness
- Creating a supportive tutor-student relationship where questions are encouraged
- Creating tailored study plans so students stay ahead of school content, exams and the HSC
- Offering support outside of lesson hours
My goal is to create a comfortable, motivating environment where students feel confident asking questions and enthusiastic to learn to ultimately achieve high academic results.
📌 What I Offer
- Private (1 on 1) and group (2-3) tutoring (group classes by arrangement)
- Weekly 2 hour lessons (frequency subject to change i.e. exam periods)
- Online (zoom) or in person lessons (by arrangement)
- Ongoing support for homework, assessments and exam preparation outside of lesson hours
⭐️ The first lesson is free– allowing students to experience improvement in understanding, study ethic and confidence before making any commitment.
