I am a friendly and dedicated tutor specialising primarily in Mathematics for students in Years 5 to 10, with experience also supporting English and Science. I am currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Information Technology. Throughout my studies, mathematics has consistently been one of my strongest subjects, and I particularly enjoy helping students understand concepts they find challenging and turning them into strengths. My teaching style is structured, patient, and adaptable. I take the time to understand how each student learns and adjust my explanations to suit their needs. I can be contacted at any time for any help needed and I believe learning should feel supportive and encouraging, not stressful, and I focus on building confidence alongside academic skills. As a tutor, I help students by breaking down complex topics into simple, easy to understand steps. Lessons are based on the student’s school curriculum and focus on improving understanding, problem solving, and exam technique. I provide worksheets, notes, and practice questions, and I ask students to share their school textbook or current topic PowerPoints before the first lesson so sessions can be fully tailored to what they are learning. I aim to create a safe and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students develop a positive attitude towards learning and believe in their own ability to succeed.
