My name is Anika, and I graduated from Baulkham Hills High School in 2025 with an atar of 99.90. Throughout my time studying for the HSC, I have been able to learn from my own mistakes and develop efficient ways of studying and finding exam strategies that have helped me avoid silly mistakes, being pressured under time, and be able to communicate my knowledge to makers- all which have helped me obtain an atar of 99.90. I hope to pass on this knowledge to the students I tutor, helping them not only understand the content, but be able to efficiently study and be able to apply their knowledge correctly in exam situations. Ultimately, the HSC is about efficiency and dealing with the stress faced under exam conditions. My teaching style After helping multiple classmates and friends with topics they have been uncertain with, I have been able to develop flexible learning strategies to accommodate each student's needs. I understand that each individual has a personalised way of learning- whether it be through understanding theory through notes or by going through guided practice questions. I offer both online tutoring and in person tutoring- be free to reach out and discuss. The subjects I teach: 1. Senior Science (Chemistry) In HSC science, I’ve seen many students memorise theory and hope to do well in exams. However, as a student who managed to get band 6 in triple science, I’ve come to realise the need to fully understand the content and then be able to apply the acquired knowledge in unique ways under exam conditions. I aim to provide students with not only the theory that they need, but also be able to give them full understanding through guided practice questions, resource banks and feedback for questions. This involves improving on working out, identifying silly mistakes and most importantly- knowing how to structure long response questions.
