I’m primarily offering online tutoring for Economics, English and Modern History, where my extensive knowledge of the syllabus and exam technique allowed me to achieve strong results. My approach to teaching involves a genuine care for your learning, with a mastery of the fundamentals blended with sophisticated Band 6 content to form true understanding. This is becoming increasingly important in the HSC, where more curveball questions are rewarding students able to establish a personal voice, rather than rote memorisation. As your tutor, I will encourage you to send me as much of your writing as possible with unlimited feedback provided outside of lesson times. Lessons will be reserved for in-depth explanations and applying content knowledge to various questions. My students will also receive access to 20/20 and 25/25 exemplar responses, 30+ essay plans, full course notes and practice papers. Supplemented with my support, these resources will help you turn weaknesses into strengths and strengths into mastery. During my time at school, I maintained a healthy balance of extra curriculars, serving as Vice-Captain of the 1st XI Football team and Cadet Corps CUO.
