I’m Steven and I graduated from Caringbah High School in 2025 as an All-Rounder Achiever and am currently studying Bachelor of Laws/Commerce at UNSW. I have been private tutoring for 3 years (Sydney Grammar students for Math + English from Y10 -> Y12). I have received an offer to tutor at The Brain without the interview process. I am also the Founder and President of my school’s Economics Club. As such, I not only have experience enabling students to understand concepts holistically and efficiently, I know how to engage the listener so that information is better absorbed. My teaching style is syllabus based, exam-focused and adventurous (in the case of English). I break down syllabus dot points into what is necessary and what is additional useful knowledge. I teach students how to think (i.e. how they should approach the question) instead of just handing them an exemplar.
