I recently completed the NSW HSC and am currently studying Law and Economics at university. I achieved a 99.4 ATAR, with my strongest results in Economics (98), English Advanced (95), Legal Studies (95), Mathematics Advanced (95), Modern History (94), and Mathematics Extension 1 (90). I was ranked within the top 50 students in the state for Economics in particular.
My teaching style is structured, calm, and exam-focused. I prioritise clarity and conciseness and try to break complex syllabus content into simple frameworks that students can confidently apply under HSC exam conditions. Rather than rote learning, I focus on teaching students how to think, structure responses, and approach questions strategically. The HSC is an exam, at the end of the day, and any practice must be targeted precisely to this exam. As such, I believe that learning exam skills is the most important part of any tutoring role, and the execution of concepts is something that must be practiced and prioritised in any session.
Having held leadership roles through my participation in the Harvard Model UN program, founding and leading the school Economics Club and being a brand ambassador and Matrix Scholarship Student, I think I am well positioned to apply my understanding of personal development to help mentor those who chose to join with me.
As a tutor, I help students:
- Build strong content understanding
- Improve exam technique and time management
- Write high-scoring responses using clear structures
- Develop consistent study systems and accountability
- Gain confidence heading into assessments and trials
Lessons are tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses, with a strong emphasis on past HSC questions, marking criteria, and targeted feedback. My goal is not only to improve marks, but to help students become more independent, confident learners.
I tutor Years 10–12 and am happy to support both students aiming for top results and those looking to build confidence and consistency.
