Biology and Chemistry Tutor | B. Medical Science (MChD Pathway) at ANU | Tuckwell Scholar 2026 Hi! I'm Edward, a 2025 graduate of Sydney Technical High School. In 2026, I will be offering private online tutoring for HSC Biology and Chemistry ($65/hour, negotiable for small groups), as well as junior mathematics, science and English ($50/hour). Coming from a background of strong academic performance (especially in these HSC subjects), leadership and peer mentoring, I am well-positioned to assist keen HSC students in performing their best, not only in the subjects I tutor, but throughout the board. This is evident in my own academic success, most recently being named a recipient of the Tuckwell Scholarship at the ANU, Australia’s most prestigious and transformational undergraduate scholarship. From 2026, I will be studying a Bachelors of Medical Science, with a guaranteed pathway into the MChD program (Doctor of Medicine and Surgery). Other achievements include internal rank 2nd for Biology, 4th for Economics and English Extension 1, and 9th for Chemistry. My teaching approach involves developing a strong foundation in the theory demanded by the HSC syllabus through clear, structured teaching and high-quality resources (including both my own and access to state ranking material), before utilising a wide range of practise questions and personalised feedback to consolidate knowledge, develop exam technique, and close any potential gaps in theory. As a recent graduate, I know the HSC is no easy feat, but I hope that through my teaching, I can instil passion within students for these subjects, and inspire good study habits that pave the way for success.
