Hi, I’m Catherine! I graduated from Brisbane State High School in 2025, having studied Literature, Economics, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. This means I’m very familiar with the syllabus and can provide up-to-date, targeted support. I will be studying medicine at Griffith in 2026!
I’ve personally experienced the stress of choosing challenging subjects like Physics and Specialist Mathematics, and I often struggled with RIs, SEs, and PSMTs. I wasn’t always a top student, but by Year 12 I developed effective study strategies that helped me improve significantly and achieve a high ATAR.
Unlike many high achievers, I wasn’t always a top academic student in my earlier years and was often in the slightly above-average range. However, this has become one of my strengths as a tutor, as it allows me to offer more down-to-earth, relatable methods that are grounded in real learning challenges.
As a tutor, I would love to share the study methods that worked for me and tailor my support to your individual challenges. I understand that everyone has different strengths and areas for improvement, and my role is to help you focus on the areas you’d like to develop and support you every step of the way.
