Hi, my name is Phoenix Yim, and I am a 2025 graduate of the IB Diploma Program from Newington College. I received an IB Diploma score of 39.75, equivalent to an ATAR of 96.00 (98.5 including University adjustment factors). I am interested in studying undergraduate Commerce Law next year. IB Tutoring: As your tutor, I will utilise my extensive experience to guide you through your IB journey, leveraging my expertise in the updated IB syllabuses and access to various learning resources. Depending on your needs, our sessions can cover focused theory learning, past question practice, or IA feedback. Moreover, free of charge, I will offer support outside of lessons, along with extensive question banks. Listed below are the subjects I offer for tutoring, and the bands I received in each. - Biology Standard Level : Grade 7 - English Language and Literature Higher Level : Grade 6 (Including an 18/20 on the Higher Level Essay and a 34/40 on Paper 1) -Extended Essay English: Grade A HSC Tutoring I achieved a Grade 6 in equivalent HSC Advanced Mathematics in my IB course, which gives me a strong base to tutor HSC Standard Mathematics. Year 7-10: I also have experience tutoring students outside of the IB. I particularly specialise in subjects such as maths and science, ensuring your child is prepared for their future endeavours in either the HSC or IB. This includes 'general subjects' such as foundation Mathematics, Science, English, Geography, French, and History, all of which I have a strong background in and will help prepare your child for both their current and future schooling journey. I can provide both in-person and online help to students, addressing content both covered in class and for further preparation.
