About

TAKING INTEREST FOR 2026 // scaled VCE French 50 (20/20 oral mark!) // DELF B2 certified. Group lessons available from $25! Salut! I’m a patient, organised and supportive French tutor who was French Dux at my school and is currently studying medicine at Monash University. I'm offering tutoring for Primary School French and Years 7–10. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and school curriculum, whether that’s strengthening core skills, supplementing classwork/topics, or preparing for assessments. A typical session includes a short French conversation warm-up, focused work on patchy areas, guided practice, and setting homework or upcoming tasks. Students are also welcome to message me during the week to submit homework or if they need clarification between sessions! I completed VCE French with a scaled study score of 50 and hold the internationally recognised DELF B2 diploma. Having gone through the VCE system myself, I’m very familiar with SACs, oral exams, and end-of-year exam expectations. I know how overwhelming French can feel at first, so I focus on building solid foundations, expanding vocabulary and cultural knowledge, and breaking down grammar into clear, manageable steps. As a non-native speaker, I bring a unique advantage: I learned French the same way my students are learning it now! That means I understand the common mistakes, the confusing grammar points, and the learning strategies that actually make a difference. My goal is not only to improve marks but also to build confidence so students feel comfortable using the language in their own lives! So, if you're ready to make French feel more approachable and achieve measurable improvement, I’d love to help! :)) // No in person, sorry! Meetings conducted over Google Meet! If you're interested in learning with me, we'll first set up a (free!) 30 minute consultation just so that I can get to know you, your goals, and your current level of French as well as any challenging areas! GROUPS: If you have a few friends around the same level who you'd like to work with, please message me as I take group lessons too!* It is also more cost efficient: 2 ppl - $40/hr/student. 3 ppl - $30/hr/student. 4 ppl - $25/hr/student. *up to 4 people in one group as more would potentially compromise my ability to tailor the lesson to each student's needs!

Reviews

I have been learning beginners French from Wendy since grade 5. I'm now in grade 7 when the rest of my classmates are beginning to learn and am so far ahead of them that I can teach them the grammar!! She's great and super nice and patient, and explained things in different ways to make me interested and remember vocab and rules even though I found the subject hard, so i always definitely recommend her if anyone needs french tutoring!
