Currently, I am a first-year medical student at the University of New South Wales. I aim to provide an efficient, no frills learning environment which is personalised to your own needs. With real HSC experience since 2023 as a Year 10 accelerant, a score of 97+ in all HSC courses I sat, and an internal rank in the top 3 at Knox for all units that counted towards my ATAR, I know how to get you good marks, save you time, and help you navigate the HSC effectively. In our lessons, you can expect me to break down difficult theoretical concepts, tell you exactly what you need to say in an answer and how to say it and provide advice/strategies on appropriate targeted practice to avoid common pitfalls and master the content. Ultimately, everything covered is with your exam performance/requirements in mind, allowing for more clarity, time and confidence in the lead up to exams. This, I believe, is the key to maximising output. With particular expertise in STEM subjects, I provide tuition mainly in Year 12 HSC Mathematics (all levels), Chemistry and Physics but I also tutor students in Years 7-11. You may choose to focus on only one subject or a combination of the above with me, with flexibility for the content of each individual lesson. I have been extensively tutoring since completing the HSC, having taught multiple students in both a private and group setting. Peripheral to formal lessons, I can also provide advice and feedback on HSC English Advanced (provided you do the same text(s) I did), medicine interviews and the UCAT. I am also offering marking services and selling my HSC English Advanced material for 1984, The Tempest/Hag-Seed, T.S. Eliot's Poetry and all Module C. Prices are negotiable for non-students and are complementary for regularly attending students (even if you are not an English student). Logistics: - Private online tuition for STEM subjects is currently priced at $100 per hour. - Tuition for English will be at a slightly higher rate (negotiated with me), and is only available for the texts listed above at Year 12 HSC English Advanced level. - Discounts are available for small group tuition and occur on a negotiable, pro rata basis. Happy to tailor lessons with content aligning to your specific school. - Online tuition is preferred however in person tuition may be available on a very limited basis, subject to the preferred location, and will incur a travel fee depending on the distance. - Lessons can be at regular or flexible times. I am also happy to offer one-off lessons closer to the dates of impending assessment tasks subject to availability. - I mark and return work and provide unlimited email correspondence in between lessons. This can include subjects of which we don't formally do together. Undertaking tuition with me will hopefully reduce stress and improve your performance in assessment tasks.
