I aim to provide an efficient, no frills learning environment which is personalised to your own needs. With real HSC experience since 2023 as a Year 10 accelerant, a score of 97+ in all HSC courses I sat, and an internal rank in the top 3 at Knox for all units that counted towards my ATAR, I know how to get you good marks, save you time, and help you navigate the HSC effectively. I prefer to run personalised semi-structured lessons catered to each individual or group's abilities, strengths and weaknesses. I find that as opposed to a precisely time-allocated and regimented 'checklist' of tasks/content to go through each lesson, being able to adapt the lesson on the spot to dedicate a larger proportion of time to topics or practicing specific question types which a student is less confident in and/or would like to specifically cover yields much more value in each session. To aid this, you can expect me to break down difficult theoretical concepts, write responses to difficult exam-style questions together with you with consistent feedback and running commentary whilst doing so to show you the level of critical thinking required, and provide advice/strategies on appropriate targeted practice to avoid common pitfalls and master the content. Ultimately, everything covered is always with one eye on the exam, allowing for more clarity, time and confidence in the lead up to assessments. This, I believe, is the key to maximising output. I provide tuition mainly in Year 11 Preliminary & Year 12 HSC Chemistry and Physics but I also tutor Mathematics, English (limited spots) and students in Years 7-10. You may choose to focus on only one subject or a combination of the above with me, with flexibility for the content of each individual lesson. Peripheral to formal lessons pertaining to school subjects, I can also provide assistance on the increasingly competitive entry process into Australian medical schools, including applications, interviews and the UCAT. Over the course of 2026 thus far, I have independently worked with around 15 students of various abilities and schools across multiple subjects in both a private and small-group setting. I also have professional company tutoring experience in teaching Chemistry and Physics classes, and am formally trained on the new syllabi for these subjects. Logistics: - Negotiable discounts are available for small group tuition, depending on the class size (typically the more students, the lower the per-head rate). Happy to tailor lessons with content aligning to your specific school's requirements. - Online tuition is preferred and will be prioritised, however in person tuition may be available on a very limited basis, subject to the preferred location, and will incur a surcharge depending on the distance/my schedule during the week. - Lessons can be at regular or flexible times. I am also happy to offer one-off lessons closer to the dates of impending assessment tasks subject to availability (including for current Year 12 2026 students with upcoming external HSC exams). - I mark and return work and provide correspondence via text and/or email in between lessons, so you have support throughout the week in order to facilitate your consistent improvement, even outside of class time.
