I would sit with dread while marks were handed out.‎‏‏‎ I flipped it over. I was ranked 120/158... I knew I was smart enough - I did Olympiad math - but something was going wrong. I would keep my exam paper face down just to delay the inevitable. I realised I was just copying my peers: jumping straight to past papers without a solid foundation. I was "handwaving" concepts rather than understanding them. So, I changed my approach. I stopped saying "I'll get the hang of this by doing papers" and started chasing the 𝗪𝗛𝗬 and 𝗛𝗢𝗪. The result? I catapulted my marks to rank 9th in Physics and 12th in 4U Maths at James Ruse. How did I do it? Just 2 steps, that I build into every lesson. ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ 1.
