I believe many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they have not yet been taught in a way that suits them. I create a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment where students feel heard, valued, and comfortable asking questions. By taking the time to understand each student as an individual, their learning style, confidence level, and challenges, I help transform frustration into clarity, confidence, and genuine enjoyment of learning. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Data Science and Decisions at UNSW and am the first female in my course. While I now love mathematics, this wasn’t always the case. It wasn’t until I had the right teacher that everything clicked. This experience has strongly shaped the way I tutor and reinforces how important it is to have someone kind, supportive, and clear when learning challenging concepts. I am very familiar with the school syllabus and tailor lessons to align closely with each student’s schoolwork and goals. Having completed over 15 hours of co-curricular activities per week, even in Year 12, I understand how demanding school life can be. I value balance and wellbeing and am more than happy to work around busy and sometimes difficult schedules. I offer both in person and online tutoring, am flexible with lesson times, and am always happy to answer questions outside of lessons when needed. My rate is $60/hr for Year 2 - Year 6 students, $70/hr for Year 7 - 10 and $90/hr for Year 11-12 students. Can also do $60 per person for group sessions so find some friends to join (2+)!
