In Science Extension, I completed an independent research project investigating the protective effects of milk powder on probiotic microorganisms, which strengthened my scientific writing and analytical skills. Ranked top 3 in Biology My teaching style: My teaching style is friendly, patient, and structured. I focus on breaking complex ideas into easy-to-understand steps and using practical examples to make learning engaging. I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs, whether that’s improving confidence, preparing for exams, or mastering foundational concepts. I also find immense value in organisation through methodological processing and clear progression of ideas to support thorough understanding of concepts. How I can help as a tutor: As a tutor, I aim to help students build confidence and truly understand what they’re learning, not just memorise it. I support them in developing effective study habits, improving their problem-solving skills, and achieving their academic goals. My fees start at $35/hr for secondary students in years 7-9 and increase incrementally as the difficulty of the subject and grade level increases.
