Hi, My name is Merin Charly. I am a medical science student at the University of Sydney. I graduated high school in 2022, with an ATAR of 96.65. During year 12, I placed first in Diocesan First in Course in Biology and completed advanced, extension 1 and extension 2 math. I have also completed university level math courses in linear algebra and calculus. As someone who initially struggled with math in school to excelling in year 12 extension math courses, I believe that any subject is a skill that can be developed with practice and patience. My teaching style is centered around explaining how math concepts link together as well as how to tackle each question type. I believe each student learns at their own pace and as a tutor, I would love guiding the understanding of how each concept fits together. I work hard to create an engaging, productive and non-judgmental environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and want to discuss solutions.
