Hi! I'm an Engineering student who graduated with a 99.4 ATAR from Emmanuel College on the Gold Coast. Having moved schools a couple of times in my senior years, I understand personally the struggles of adjusting to different teaching styles and the confusion when your marks do not reflect your fullest potential. I aim to increase the confidence and capability of students by highlighting their personal strengths and the ways they can be utilised in personal study, by breaking down unnecessarily complicated topics into simple terms, and by providing a rough schedule to optimise progress. My strongest subjects were Specialist maths, Methods, Physics, Chemistry, and English; however, university engineering was something I was deeply unprepared for, and I'd love to share my tips and tricks to give students the motivation they need to see themselves succeed. Every student has the potential for proficiency, but first they need to see the potential in themselves, and sometimes that requires a little encouragement. I'm open to any suggestions, so please do not hesitate to ask me questions. I look forward to getting to know the students and to make learning achievable and exciting!
