My name is Chris, and I offer unique, friendly, and approachable tutoring support to help students feel more confident and capable in their studies. I’m currently working as a Process Engineer in the water/wastewater treatment industry, and hold a Masters in Chemical Engineering. I'm very passionate about giving back and helping people, and I thought this would be a great way to use my knowledge and skills to do that! As an engineer, I’ve always been very passionate and interested in science and maths - I was definitely a bit of a nerd in high school! I achieved top marks in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics in high school. I then carried that momentum throughout university, graduating with high distinction in my masters degree. While I’m new to tutoring, I’ve mentored and trained graduates in technical concepts at work regularly. My teaching style is clear, patient, and practical - I focus on breaking things down into simple, relatable ideas so students genuinely understand the content (not just memorise it). I have been complemented for the unique way I can teach something, and how enthusiastic I am. I love to get the pens, highlighters, and whiteboard markers out to explain something practically!
