Hi, I'm Sabine! I completed the HSC at Ascham School in 2024 and received two state ranks in English, 2nd in the State in English Advanced and 4th in English Extension 1. I have been tutoring since I completed the HSC and my aim is to encourage students to enjoy English and personally connect with the texts they study. I want to inspire students to not purely be motivated by the result, but the loops and lengths of language itself. Having completed the 2024 HSC, I have seen that like any other HSC subject there are methodical and systematised approaches students can take to English which promote success. I have tutored over 20 students throughout the course of 2025 from schools including, Ascham, Waverley, Cranbrook, Rose Bay Public, SCEGGS, Reddam, Emmanuel, Kincoppal-Rose Bay, James Ruse, Sydney Girls and Moriah. I work with students by discussing their assignments or assessments, explaining concepts within the texts they are studying and reviewing their own writing by adding comments and editing suggestions. I also welcome students to email me and will read additional responses throughout the week. In addition to this, I also tutor Visual Art theory. I came 1st internally in Visual Art and have always adored artistic and creative pursuits. (My rate for Visual Art tutoring is $70)
