-- 98.85 ATAR - Graduated from Sydney Boys High School (2024) - Primary School, High School and HSC Tutor - Bachelor of Physiotherapy at ACU -- Hi! My name is Alex Reynolds, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University. I went to Randwick Public School from years K - 4, before being selected for the Opportunity Class at Woollahra Public School for years 5 - 6. I was then accepted into Sydney Boys High School, where I consistently placed on the Academic Merit List, and graduated in 2024 with an ATAR of 98.85. I would love to help with the following subjects! Primary Math (K-6) Primary English (K-6) Secondary Math (7-10) Secondary Science (7-10) HSC Standard Math HSC Advanced Math HSC Physics HSC Chemistry HSC Biology During my HSC, I completed the following subjects with the respective marks: English Advanced (89), Maths Advanced (95), Physics (95), Chemistry (93) and Biology (93). However, I offer help in other subjects, all the way from Primary School level to HSC level. Engaging with these subjects so deeply has given me not just knowledge, but understanding of these subjects, as well as the syllabuses they follow. I firmly believe that all students have the potential to be outstanding learners. It is my job as a teacher to adapt my own style of teaching to best bring out the confidence and engagement that already lies within every student I meet. When teaching I like to allow the student to dictate the direction of the lesson, while I guide them in mastering the topics they feel less familiar with. Once again, every student is different, and that's why I love teaching! Teaching not only allows me to engage with the high school subjects that I still love, but also provides great fulfillment for me as a profession. I have over three years of experience working with multiple educational companies, as well as my own private clients, and this has allowed me to refine my skills in becoming the best mentor I possibly can. I understand that teaching is a partnership, not a one - way street, and I can't wait to continue developing my skills as a mentor!
