Ellie D.

Hello! My name is Ellie Dritsas, and I am currently a postgraduate student at the University of Notre Dame, looking to start my Master's in English Literature. For the past five years, I have been a dedicated tutor specialising in English at all levels (Studies through to Extension 2), and Modern History. I endeavour to instil within all my students the confidence of honing their critical-thinking skills, as well as to complete assessments without the reliance on generative AI (which has become an increasingly contentious topic over my course of tutoring). I am deeply passionate about the subjects that I teach, and aim to evoke the same enthusiasms within each of my students. In 2026, I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Notre Dame. In 2025, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (with a Distinction average), and came first in my course, receiving first prize on multiple occasions for my achievements. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 With regard to my background in literary studies, I am not only able to analyse texts quickly and in-depth, but I am also proficient in literary theory, which, when utilised correctly, can bolster your essays and assessments. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 To help you get started, I offer the first session completely free of charge, with no commitment required if you find that I am not the right fit for your learning style. Once the trial lesson is completed and if you wish to continue, I charge for the full ten lessons of the term upfront. Given my academic standing and experience, 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝗼𝗻-𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Each lesson is structured around the student's current text of study and is tailored specifically to their areas of concern and ability level. * 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲! • If you are looking for group sessions, then my fee drops to $65 per hour. Group sessions will reach maximum capacity at 3 students per session. • The availabilities listed on my profile are for 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
