Hello! My name is Matthew, and I'm from Melbourne and Sydney. I recently graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce (High Distinction average), majoring in Marketing who did an exchange semester at IE University, Madrid. This year, I’ll be starting a Master’s in International Business and Sustainability at Sciences Po in Paris, where I’ll be studying sustainable fashion and finance in both English and French. I’m a friendly and inclusive tutor with several years of experience teaching Legal Studies, Economics, English, and French. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to meet each student’s unique needs. My goal is to help students not only master the content but also enjoy the learning process. My teaching style focuses on clarity, structure, and practical strategies. I guide students in how to approach assessments effectively and present their work in a way that meets curriculum standards and maximises results. During the HSC, I achieved: First in French Continuers (Accelerated, tied) Second in Legal Studies Third in Economics I also received a Band 6 in English Advanced. I spent a year on exchange in Brittany, France, from 2017 to 2018 and now speak French at an advanced level. I'm happy to work with students of all levels, whether they are seeking structured tutoring or looking to improve their conversational French.
