I graduated from John XXIII college in 2022 with a 98 ATAR taking Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Specialist & Methods and Literature ATAR. I am currently in my third year of study for Mechanical Engineering at UWA with a 6.9 GPA and 88 WAM. My best mark for ATAR was an 87 (RAW) for Methods and my other marks hovered around 80. My teaching style generally involves me picking example problems and observing how my student goes about solving it from this I can pinpoint where they struggle and go about explaining the problem and my thought process when solving. I like for my students to really understand why they are solving something a particular way as I believe this is the most practical way to learn and will help in future studies. My style is completely flexible though and depends on the type of work being done and how receptive the student is to my teaching. If they aren't receptive I will differ my approach. I can give advice for engineering at uni also as I have had great success so far. In my recent studies I have become far more efficient at learning and studying and can hopefully pass some of this wisdom on. Available to tutor at UWA Barry J library or Reid library.
