Hey! I’m Anna, an International Economics and Political Science (IR) student at UWA with an assured pathway to Juris Doctor (Min. 96 ATAR). At All Saints’ College, I had a passion for Human Biology and Chemistry, as well as completing Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Applications, English and Psychology (Year 11). Achievements Include: - Final ATAR 96+ - Mathematics Applications average: 94% - English WACE mark: 85+ - Certificate of Merit - Pianoforte 13+ years - Native mandarin speaker Tutoring Experience: - 2 Years Professional Tutoring Experience with UPLUS (Primary and Secondary: English, Math, Science) - 6 Years English (Speaking) Tutoring Experience I’m a passionate educator who strives to clearly understand and adapt to different students’ learning styles. I aim to help them stay consistently motivated and aid them in solving any questions the students may pose. As somebody who received tutoring from others through high school, I understand first hand the benefit and impact a good tutor can have on a child's education. What a typical lesson would look like: 1. First 30min - 1hr: going through a practice test or parts of a test of the target topic. 2. 20min: target questions that were wrong, explain the question and let the student retry again. 3. Remaining time: answer any outstanding classwork questions and concepts. 4. ALTERNATIVELY: I can also offer "accelerated learning" and start on the next topic early with students to ensure they're ahead in content at school. (Slightly higher cost may incur for accelerated learning materials and preparation) I have a cleared and current National Police Check as well my Working with Children's Check.
