With excellent marks and knowledge in the NSW curriculum I am hoping to take on students to help. ❗Don't Worry If You Hate Studying❗ I was once that kid who failed maths in Year 9 and 10, barely studying and always thinking, "It's just Year 10, it doesn't matter." I still remember one maths test where I scored 25/50. I nervously counted the marks again, hoping to find an extra mark somewhere. Instead, I realised they had actually miscounted, my real score was 24/50. I had failed. It was embarrassing and honestly, a bit of a wake-up call. That moment stuck with me. I realised if I kept going like this, I’d be setting myself up for bigger failures later on. So I made a decision to change. I started small, reviewing class notes, asking questions when I didn’t understand, and actually trying to practice consistently. Over time, those small steps built up. I went from barely passing to becoming an A+ student. Eventually, I graduated with a Band 6 in Extension 1 and 2 Maths and Band 6 in Chemistry, and now I study Actuarial Studies at UNSW. One of the most maths-intensive degrees in Australia. I know how it feels to struggle, to feel like you're not "naturally good" at a subject. That’s why when I tutor, I focus on showing students how anyone can turn things around with the right approach.
