Hi! I’m a current teacher at Oakleigh Grammar, a well-renowned IB school, where I specialise in teaching VCE Media Units 1 & 2, as well as Year 8 and 9 English. I have experience working with a wide range of students and am a subject specialist in these year levels. My teaching approach is visual, engaging, and tailored — I use PowerPoints, clear explanations, and structured resources to help students break down complex ideas and build their confidence.
As a tutor, my goal is to support your child’s individual learning needs — whether it’s improving essay writing, understanding media theory and production, preparing for assessments, or boosting overall subject knowledge. I focus on developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and effective study habits that align with school expectations.
Because I actively teach the Australian curriculum, I bring current classroom insights and a deep understanding of what teachers and assessors look for in student work. I also have access to a range of resources and practice tasks that your child can benefit from outside regular school material.
