I loved English in highschool, so much so that I am now completing a Bachelor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Melbourne. I am a fully remote tutor, offering online lessons of any length you require. My base rate is $50/hour and $25/half hour. I can help with English from levels Prep to Year 12 English, and cater my lessons to the individual student - meaning that your English tutoring needs will be listened to and accounted for in my lessons! These tutoring needs can include (but are not limited to): - Essay writing - Creative writing - Text comprehension - Spelling - Reading fluency I love incorporating educational games into my lessons, as extensive studies have shown that students of any age learn quicker and retain more information when their lessons encourage dopamine release - a neurotransmitter that contributes to improved memory and the formation of meaningful connections with the lesson content. I take all students willing and ready to learn, but have a specific passion for tutoring neurodiverse students. I have extensive experience tutoring with and experiencing neurodiversity, and have strategies to help these students shine.
