Hello! My name is Camilla. I studied law, Asian studies and also applied linguistics. I work as a university lecturer and translator. After ten years of study and ten years of working as a translator, I understand how difficult it can be for students to write in a clear and concise way and the importance of conveying your ideas precisely. I have more than 10 years of experience working as a tutor, teaching spelling, writing, English and Japanese. At school, my best subjects were English, French and Agriculture. My ATAR was 94.75. I have studied many languages and can speak Korean, Japanese, Dutch and Spanish and I speak intermediate French and Polish. I'm currently studying Mandarin. I know the struggle of wanting to do well and not knowing what to do so I am extremely patient, understanding, encouraging and friendly. I often use textbooks to teach and supplement them with real-life resources and extra worksheets where extra focus is needed on particular areas. I can help ESL students, from primary school to adult. I enjoy teaching spelling, writing and general English - text types, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, etc. I enjoy teaching children and also adults.
