99.00 ATAR || HSC All-Rounder || PhB Science (Honours) / Mathematical Sciences ANU Hi, I’m Ella! 💫 I’m a passionate tutor with a love for learning and a genuine commitment to helping students feel more confident, capable, and calm about their subjects, whether that’s tackling challenging exam questions, wrapping your head around a tough concept, or just feeling like you’re not alone in it. I graduated from PLC Sydney in 2024 with an ATAR of 99.00 and top band results across all my subjects, including Band 6s in Maths Extension 1, Extension 2, Chemistry, and Physics. I’m now studying a PhB Science (Honours) at ANU, combining my interests in mathematics, logic, and the sciences with a long-standing love of problem-solving. ⸻ 📚 Teaching Style I know how much of a difference the right explanation can make sometimes it’s just about hearing it in a way that makes sense to you. I try to create a relaxed, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and aren’t afraid to make mistakes. That’s how real learning happens. Each lesson is tailored to the student. Some of my students like to revise syllabus content step-by-step, while others prefer doing past papers or walkthroughs of their assessments. I’m happy to do both! I also share notes and resources, and I’m always happy to go over revision plans or study strategies if needed. That said, I’ve found online sessions to be incredibly effective. I use my iPad to work through problems in real time, and students can follow along just as clearly as they would in person. It’s flexible, easy to set up, and works really well for explaining concepts, sharing resources, and keeping everything organised.
