Hi! My name is Jonathan, and I'm currently a medical student at the University of Sydney. I've always loved math and science, and I also studied French as my major for my undergraduate degree. I was born in Australia, but I completed my high school and undergraduate studies in the United States, with 3.981 and 3.97 GPAs, respectively. I scored 35 on the ACT and 1580 on the SAT in high school. On my medical school admissions exams, I achieved 526 on the MCAT before deciding to return to Australia, and I earned an overall score of 80 on the GAMSAT. I believe that the most important thing in school is learning to enjoy the process, and I let that reflect in my process as a tutor. I prefer to focus on understanding and thinking through problems rather than simple memorization. While this doesn't always yield immediate results, my students develop real critical thinking skills that serve them well beyond the next assessment.
