Hi, I'm Sahansa and I graduated in 2024 from Hobart College, with an ATAR of 99.95, and am currently studying medicine at UTAS. I have previously been involved in tutoring across a range of subjects and as a debating mentor. Having completed the courses just last year I am familiar with the curriculum and what is needed for success.
I believe in true understanding and application of knowledge over just memorisation, with a focus on active learning and regular recall. In my teaching I utilise PowerPoints and mind maps to go through concepts and highlight interconnection between ideas, referring to practice questions to reinforce key messages. Having completed the subjects myself I am able to provide my own tips and tricks to learning, as well as provide feedback on written assignments. Ultimately, my focus is to provide targeted guidance to help you achieve your goals
