I'm an engineering student at the University of Melbourne with an average grade of First Class Honours. I enjoy hiking, watching the NBA and drawing. With multiple years of private tutoring experience, I am extremely good at tailoring lessons to target topics students struggle the most with. High school can get extremely difficult and is a period where adolescents face so much pressure from all aspects of their life. Through my tutoring experience, I have consistently helped students succeed in one specific aspect - their grades. Recently I have begun offering private tutoring services for every subject available at Victorian High Schools as a collective with a group of my friends. We also offer an online, class program in mathematics for Years 7-12. For private tutoring: - Students choose whether lessons are online or in-person. - Students choose how many hours lessons run for. - Students choose the day/s of the week that lessons take place. - Students can enrol in small groups with their friends. - Lessons are offered for all subjects in Victorian schools from Years 7-10, as well as all VCE subjects from Years 11-12. - Fees are typically $65 per hour and this price is reduced if lessons are for multiple hours, the subject is popular, or if students enrol as a group. For class tutoring: - Students learn mathematics (Years 7-12) in small online classes. - For Years 11 and 12, I tutor Maths Methods. - Every class runs for one hour per week at different times. - Content is taught through prerecorded videos and recapped in the live classes, where students have ample opportunity to ask questions as I apply the teachings to practice problems. - Students have access to a 24/7 online forum that is monitored by real people during working hours and responded to by AI agents if you are having a late night study session (to which I say - getting sleep is more important). - Students have access learning resources such as worksheets. - Fees are $35 per week As a current University student, I, like many people, have struggled deciding upon the career I wish to pursue. As tutors, I feel it is our responsibility to not only support students in their academics but to also assist them in any queries relevant to tertiary education. So, I make it known to my students, that if they have any questions about things that may affect them, such as my experience with University applications or specific VCE subjects I recommend, that they are very welcome to ask.
