Hi! I’m a first-year Optometry student at UNSW with a strong academic record and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential. I graduated high school with an ATAR of 95.75 and was honoured to be the Dux of my school from Years 8–12, consistently ranking first across a wide range of subjects including English, Mathematics, Sciences, and Humanities. In the HSC, I achieved the following results: English Standard (94), PDHPE (93), Legal Studies (91), Mathematics Advanced (87), and Biology (87). I also studied Business Studies in Year 11, where I ranked first in the subject with a final score of 95. My teaching style is highly interactive and student-focused. I aim to explain concepts clearly, regularly check understanding through questions, and tailor each lesson to suit the individual learning style of my students. I strongly believe that building confidence and creating a positive, supportive learning environment is key to academic success, as it allows students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. As a tutor, I provide support with subject content, effective study strategies, exam preparation, and time management skills. Having performed consistently at a high level myself, I understand what it takes to succeed and am committed to helping my students reach their goals. I am also extremely attentive and dedicated to the quality of my work — I am happy to review multiple drafts, respond promptly to messages, and provide ongoing support outside of lesson times.
