Student at the Australian National University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Double Major in Classics and History and a Minor in Heritage and Museum Studies). I completed the HSC in Music 1, Drama, History Extension, Ancient History and Geography, in which I achieved band 5s and 6s. I additionally studied Philosophy and English Extension. In competitions, I achieved high distinctions in Geography and History and upon graduating, I achieved top 25 in the state for Music 1 Musicology. I have a strong background in university admission, editorial work, test preparation strategies and database usage.
My teaching style emphasises open communication and earnest listening to the student about their struggles. My lesson plans are guided for each student based on their specific needs, whether essay structuring, analysis techniques, source evaluation or imaginative writing. I also like to ask that a student spend five minutes before the session re-reading their notes for the day and even the week so far as a memorisation technique.
