Hi there! :) I’m Nikoo, an undergraduate medical student and a passionate, approachable, and high-achieving tutor with two years of experience working with both individuals and small groups.
I graduated from Presbyterian Ladies College in 2024 and specialise in VCE French, Psychology, and Biology. I also offer support in Year 9–10 Science and English, as well as junior French. My goal is to help students feel confident in their abilities, genuinely enjoy what they’re learning, and leave each session feeling more empowered and excited to tackle what’s next.
I would be the right fit as your tutor because I achieved:
• Raw study scores of 45 in both Psychology and Biology
• A raw study score of 42 in French, with a perfect 20 out of 20 on the oral exam
• A raw study score of 40 in Literature
• I’ve also been awarded VCE Academic Excellence Awards in French, Psychology, and Literature, which reflect not only subject mastery but also my consistent dedication and love for learning.
But it’s not just the scores that set me apart; it’s the fact that I’ve walked the path myself and taken the time to reflect on what actually works. I understand the challenges each subject brings, and I’m here to share that experience with you so we can find what works best for you, and help you achieve your personal best.
My tutoring style is warm, supportive, and flexible. I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style, whether we’re preparing for SACs, breaking down tricky content, or steadily building skills over time. I like to keep sessions interactive and engaging, using a mix of discussion, practice questions, and worksheets to reinforce understanding. I’m also happy to provide notes, suggest extra resources, or adapt the lesson structure based on what works best for you.
