I’m a 20 year old student studying psychology and criminology at the University of Sydney. I completed the HSC in 2023 with a 95.15 ATAR, and Band 6s in Legal Studies, English Advanced, Community and Family Studies and Society & Culture. I placed 1st in Year 12 CAFS, 1st in Year 11 Modern History and 1st in Year 10 Commerce. I have tutored for a total of 2 years through multiple tutoring companies, which have provided me training and extensive experience with different learning styles and students’ needs. My teaching style: I am very flexible and adapt to the needs and personality of each student individually to provide the most effective tutoring possible. I cover all bases of HSC preparation, including teaching and revising content, completing assessments and responding to past paper questions. I utilise the resources and advice that I used during my HSC year to excel to help my students get the marks that they want. Lessons can involve questions, revision or assessment support that is led by the student themselves, or personalised lesson plans that I create for each and every session. I am always happy to accommodate. For year 7-10 tutoring, I work on polishing students’ skills for the HSC by implementing good study habits and building a strong understanding of key concepts early on.
