Hi, I’m Lalit Suresh, A UQ student currently studying a dual degree in Bachelor of Computer Science / Master of Data science as a third-year student. Having graduated with an ATAR of 97.85, tutoring was my first job out of high school. I have had 2 years of experience teaching mathematics and physics for years 9 to 12 under Cluey Learning, an Australian tutoring company taking online sessions through all Australian states. Tutoring has been a very rewarding experience for me, because I have loved to see how students interact and improve their skills on a subject I have been passionate about. My degree in Computer Science has helped me consolidate my experience in the subjects that I am offering, having improved my understanding of the mathematical methods syllabus and coding languages for digital solutions. For digital solutions, I am mainly familiar with python and SQL. I offer online and in person services, for both Mathematical methods methods and digital solutions subjects. For online services, I am flexible to use any platform of preference. I like to teach with a problem-based approach. As I have found for many students including myself, concepts usually make more sense when the examples are introduced before theory. I then try to link what was done in the problems back to theory to help students get a full understanding of the concept. I find that this approach lets students apply the concepts generally, even towards that they are not familiar with such as complex unfamiliar questions in math methods exams. For online lessons I charge $40 / hr
