About me: Hello! I graduated from the UWCSEA international school in Singapore, completing my final exams in the May 2022 session. I was accepted into top UK universities, including UCL, Edinburgh, and KCL, for Biomedical Sciences with 43/45 IB score. However, I ultimately chose to pursue medicine in Australia, where I am currently studying. As a recent IB graduate, I have firsthand experience with the most effective study methods and valuable insights into excelling in the IB program. My approach goes beyond academic achievement—I also serve as a mentor, providing guidance and motivation to help students reach their full potential. To maintain the highest quality of teaching, I only take on a limited number of private students. Currently, I am working with two students and plan to keep my capacity below four, ensuring I can provide dedicated support outside of lessons. I also maintain close contact with my group class students, answering questions and monitoring their progress consistently. I am passionate about helping students who are eager to improve, regardless of their current grades, and I am committed to fostering their academic growth. About Lessons: Tutoring Experience: I have about three years of tutoring experience, having worked with eight students ranging from Grades 7 to 11. My personalised tutoring includes: • Regular progress tracking and feedback (shared study plans and comprehensive performance reports) • Continuous support and communication with both students and parents • A highly interactive and engaging learning environment Teaching Approach: Rather than lecturing through entire chapters, I break down concepts into smaller, manageable parts. For every new concept, we immediately apply it to past exam questions, reinforcing understanding and retention. This structured approach includes: • Thorough explanations with real exam application • Daily review checks and consistent problem-solving practice • Detailed feedback on practice questions, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement • Mandatory error logs to track progress and enhance learning Beyond scheduled lessons, I act as a dedicated mentor, providing ongoing academic support and helping students develop strong study habits for long-term success.
