I am excited to help anyone achieve their best in both the HSC, UCAT, DSAT and interview tutoring. I've had 5+ years of private tutoring experience teaching mathematics, physics and English across year 9-12 students. I spent 2 years in my pathway to studying Medicine and found out that your ATAR wasn't everything. For anyone interested in the medicine pathway I can give all the information I've gathered over the years, my resources, pathways that I realised were much easier and everything you need to do in order to maximise your chances of getting an offer. A memorable student of mine was one who had never received any tutoring or had previous academic goals. They had to receive tutoring in year 11 as they were unable to pursue a career as an athlete. I was first lost in getting started with teaching this student. They really had no basic foundations that could make it easier for me to progress the lesson. However, eventually I was able to work out a strategy that was right for them. Not only was I able to help him find motivation to study like a friend but I was able to help him get from bottom 5 of his cohort in most subjects , to top 5 in math and top 10 in chemistry internally. Although he was not from a selective high school, he was ultimately able to achieve an overall 96 ATAR which was way above what he had expected. This is why I can confidently say I am willing to tutor students of ALL LEVELS.
