I achieved a 95 ATAR at the Knox School and contributed 3+ years as an experienced English and Maths tutor at various tutoring centres, specializing in Phonics. One of the fundamental reasons I chose to become a tutor was to rekindle the adventure of learning that can be lost in the 'one size fits all' nature of the classroom. In applying my communication, interpersonal and numerical skills, I hope to create a personalized and supportive academic environment where students excel. I offer 1-2 hour in person or online (zoom) lessons that emphasize sustainable study habit building and developing strong self efficacy. I encourage students to take an active role in their learning by personalising classes and inviting feedback. What makes me an ideal tutor is my empathy as a young person to relate to your child and my commitment to making lessons engaging and memorable.
