Hi! I'm Josh, and I hold a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Bond University. These are my HSC marks: - Mathematics Extension 1: 98/100 (E4) - Mathematics Extension 2: 93/100 (E4) - Chemistry: 89/100 (Band 5) - Economics: 88/100 (Band 5) - English Advanced: 84/100 (Band 5) Throughout high school, maths was my strongest and favourite subject. I completed Extension 2 Mathematics in Year 12, scoring 93% in my HSC exam. I also achieved over 95% in my other math courses and graduated with an ATAR of 97.8. From an early age, I developed a deep passion for mathematics, thanks to the support and inspiration of my teachers. Their guidance not only strengthened my understanding but also showed me the beauty of problem-solving and logical thinking. This enthusiasm has stayed with me, driving me to excel in my studies and ultimately pursue a degree in Actuarial Science. Now, as a tutor, I want to share that same passion with my students—helping them build confidence, develop a strong mathematical foundation, and see maths not just as a subject, but as a skill that empowers critical thinking and problem-solving. I prefer working one-on-one with students, breaking down each step of a problem to ensure a deep understanding. Rather than just memorising formulas, I focus on explaining why concepts work, helping you develop strong problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
