I achieved an ATAR of 98, with Band 6s in Modern History (95), Legal Studies (95) and English Advanced (93). I am a first year Arts/Law student at UNSW and former School Captain at Fort Street HS, with strong communication skills and a passion for learning. **My rate is $60 per hour. 😁 I also offer in-depth and detailed assignment/practice test reviews and feedback at $35 per paper. I received the Minister’s Award for Student Achievement 2024 for demonstrating initiative and commitment to my community. I ranked 1st in Legal Studies, History Extension and Modern History at Fort Street High School, excelling in the HSC. I am interested in current affairs and keep up to date with law in the news, very important to excel in Legal Studies. I can help you or your child articulate complex theses in their essays, using a range of worked-through exemplar essays and tips and tricks :) I excelled in my History Extension major work, a 2500-word essay written over 6 months focused on how historiography on the role of women in the Indian Independence movement changed over time. This involved extensive research at the State Library of NSW and online, and I achieved an E4 (47/50) for History Extension in the HSC, ranking 1st at Fort St HS. I can definitely assist all students with reviewing their major work or assisting with the research process!! I am highly experienced working with and supporting students. As School Captain, I worked in groups with peers, and over 40 students from years 7 to 11. I encouraged them to share their ideas, and fostered collaboration across different year groups, to improve their student experience and wellbeing. Using these skills, I would support all students in achieving their best learning outcomes. As a strong public speaker and communicator, I have given numerous presentations, ad hoc and formally, at a range of forums, in my role as School Captain of Fort Street HS. I also led and coordinated all aspects of Fort Street HS’s inaugural Future Leaders Conference 2023. It involved over 300 students from 33 public high schools across NSW, and seven prominent guest speakers (including former High Court Justice the Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG).
