Elena N.

Hi, I'm Elena! I graduated from Wenona in 2024 with an ATAR of 99.50 and am currently studying a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Engineering at the University of Sydney as a Dalyell Scholar. With over 250 hours of tutoring experience, I help students build a strong understanding of challenging concepts, develop effective problem-solving techniques and approach exams with confidence. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, whether that means strengthening foundational knowledge, working through difficult questions or preparing for assessments and HSC exams. My HSC results: ⭐ Mathematics Advanced: 96 ⭐ Mathematics Extension 1: 94 ⭐ Mathematics Extension 2: 91 ⭐ Chemistry: 92 (4th in my school) ⭐ Physics: 93 (2nd in my school) 🏆 ATAR: 99.50 🏆 All-rounder Merit List — Band 6 results across at least 10 units of study Having recently completed the HSC myself, I understand the demands of the syllabus, the importance of exam technique and how overwhelming difficult topics can sometimes feel. I aim to break complex ideas into clear, manageable steps so that students understand not just how to solve a question, but why the method works. My lessons are personalised to each student's goals and learning style, with a focus on building confidence, improving problem-solving skills and developing independent learning habits. I can also share my own notes, study resources and practice questions accumulated throughout high school to help students consolidate their learning. I genuinely enjoy helping others tackle challenging questions and discover that even the most difficult concepts can become manageable with the right approach. I'd love to help your child build both their skills and confidence! Hourly rate: Year 7-10 online: $55 Year 7-10 in person: $65 Year 11-12 online: $60 Year 11-12 in person: $70
