Marvin is a very patient, knowledgeable and engaging tutor. Throughout the time he tutored me, he has always provided really in-depth and specific feedback for my practice responses. When it came to Literature, I appreciated the way in which he supported and helped me develop my initial interpretations of texts. I found this really helpful as he taught me ways to become a more insightful reader and did not push his own readings of texts onto me. Similarly, Marvin is extremely knowledgeable in Psychology and has always provided feedback and explanations in a clear way. This has really helped me improve my understanding of content I was struggling with beforehand and find ways to approach difficult SAC and exam questions. Additionally, Marvin is very flexible with lesson times and was always very understanding when I needed to cancel or have additional classes throughout the week. He is a very lovely, inspiring and dedicated person to be around and I highly recommend him as a Literature and Psychology tutor!!
