I have through that scholarship a guaranteed entry into the post graduate MD at the University of Melbourne, which I am very much looking forward to. Having sat the UCAT twice, once in year 12, and once in my first year of Uni, I understand the struggles and hardships faced by aspiring medical students. Having achieved a good, but not great UCAT mark in 2024 (3000 (88th percentile) under the old UCAT system), facing the challenge of UCAT in 2025 seemed daunting, however I learned a lot about how the test works and what preparation methods are the most important for UCAT success, reflected in my mark of 2420 (96th percentile) in 2025. By doing the UCAT, I have also gained useful insight into balancing studies with life, as well as tips and tricks to maximize studying potential.
