I am an Economics Teacher located in Morningside, Brisbane. My experience includes: - Working in top Brisbane private schools over the past 10 years in the GPS, QGSSSA and AIC systems. - Working as a coordinator of evening study at a top 3 QGSSSA school - Being on the board of the Queensland Economics Teachers Association - Working as a QCAA marker of the Economics Year 12 external exam. - Working in Investment Banking, Recruitment and Accounting firms prior to being a teacher - Working as a data analyst and head of membership for the Queensland Reds prior to being a teacher My qualifications include a Bachelor of Business majoring in Economics and Finance and a GradDip in Secondary Teaching majoring in Economics and Business teaching. I am a tutor who can help: - simplify difficult Economic concepts or procedures across all 4 QCAA units - break concepts down in a quick and relatable fashion - teach students simple tricks to learn and understand economics that I have used in my own education journey as well as an educator - help students develop effective study skills - supply resources such as practice questions, mock exams or exercises that I use as a teacher in top Brisbane private schools - help students prepare for assignments or exams - give students behind the scenes advice on acing the external exam in Year 12 I have helped many students achieve top ATAR's and have taught multiple students who have achieved the highest score out of 100 for QCAA Economics over the past 10 years. My specialty is the QCAA syllabus for Economics. As an Economics Teacher, I love to breathe passion into what is my favourite subject and personal obsession. I love to help students find ease with the subject, relate it to their own lives and bridge their studies with real world issues/topics. Primarily, I would love to offer online zoom sessions, however, for an extra fee can also visit students personally or offer tutoring sessions from my home in Morningside.
