About
Hi I’m Joel! I graduated from Hale School an ATAR of 99.80 in 2023 and now I’m a medical student at Curtin university.
I studied Mathematics Methods and Specialist, Chemistry, Literature and French. At school I topped my cohort in Literature and French, and I received straight As in all subjects.
French was my top subject in WACE, where I achieved a mark of 97.9 and 100% in the oral section.
I have over a year of experience as a tutor, working in both one-on-one and group settings with students ranging from Year 7 to Year 12. As a tutor, my approach will be tailored to each student: I will set clear, achievable goals and plan lessons in order to reach those goals. I will also ensure they are prepared for upcoming topics in advance, and I'll focus on areas according each student's individual needs.
Above all, I will create an environment where every student feels comfortable and encouraged. I believe that the best learning environments are ones that intellectually stimulate the student, encouraging them to ask questions and making them excited to learn.
