Hello! I'm Ethan, a 2024 graduate of Normanhurst Boys High School currently studying an Electrical Engineering / Computer Science Degree at UNSW. My marks may seem impressive at first but they don't show my improvement in my final two years of Highschool. In year 11, I failed my Chemistry and Physics tests. I was left thinking that I should drop the subjects as it didn't seem to work out. However at the start of Year 12, I realised my bad habits and implemented studying techniques. I drastically changed my grade from a bottom 15, to a final top 20 rank in both subjects by the time of HSC.
I understand the struggle of students personally. I want to share my knowledge and refined studying techniques with my students to allow everyone to realise their full potential. I want to show students that it is never too late, and that everyone can achieve greatness with enough effort.
Through my experience of tutoring students, I have realised that everyone learns differently, allowing me to be adaptable in my teaching with students. I aim to elevate your learning beyond merely understanding the material and have you be able to confidently apply what you learn to any question presented to you.
