I am in my fifth year studying medicine at UNSW and graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 2021. I am offering tutoring for Mathematics for years 7-10 and Music 2, Music Extension and Chemistry in years 11 and 12. I also am available to optimise and supervise you or your child's violin and viola practice. I have over 4 years experience tutoring and my students have all seen vast improvements in results and confidence. In Maths, my tutoring methods are dictated by the student and am able to cater to their needs whether that be reviewing concepts and homework covered at school, accelerating them ahead or stretching their abilities through challenging questions. I seek to be able to streamline the student's approach and thinking towards mathematical concepts so that they are able to not only complete questions efficiently but also be able to apply concepts to challenging questions. I have a broad scope of past papers and other resources enabling my students to be exposed to a range of questions and thus grow in their confidence. In Music, I seek to provide broad frameworks that can be applied to specific questions which I found to be the most helpful approach during my study. To complement this, I also have resources and processes to help students be able to analyse the specifics and thus provide the detail that is required to score high marks in music. Furthermore, I am able to provide assistance and empower students to complete assignments thoroughly. This is particularly important as assignments are an integral component of the Preliminary and HSC Music courses. Having received full marks in all of my internal assessments, I have a proven approach to maximise marks in this area. I also offer violin and viola lessons as well as supervision for practice. In my lessons, I seek to instil joy into learning and practising whilst also provide the foundational skills to be able to continue to grow as a violin/viola player so that my students can take their skills where they want whether that be for leisure, orchestra, chamber music or exams and competitions. Having received my LMusA (Hons) in viola and AMusA (Hons) in violin and viola as well as won and competed at local and international competitions, I am super passionate about music teaching and sharing my love for music. In Chemistry, I focus on growing my students' confidence in the core skills and building a rhythm to be able to answer a variety of questions. This is especially important in Chemistry as it is a subject where the theory needs to be applied in many different contexts and so I seek to assist students in this by providing worked examples and sample answers as well as providing a range of questions for my students to complete.
